Flash Web Design in New York Gets Key Push by Technological Research

All facets of technology: analogue, digital, hardware, and software, have all seen great strides of progress made in their respective fields. In fact, in two days we will unveil and test the LHC: Large Hadron Collider which will either unlock the secrets of the universe or destroy the planet in a matter of seconds. Doomsday theories aside, the field of research has expanded into the realm of the digital world and various scripting, coding, and visual design programs. One in particular, has received not only a great technological advance from its own creators, but also the various people that use it. Today I'm talking about Adobe Flash CS3 and it's scripting language Actionscript 3.0. These two names were previously owned by Macromedia (which also owned Dreamwaver ) but were bought out by Adobe and streamlined into their Creative Suite 3 which made life, and a budget, easier on the average designer and programmer.

Flash web design in New York has always been a big deal; just take a look at all of the websites with animated intros, glossed over buttons, and dynamic content. The web has changed drastically: constantly moving images are frowned upon, heavy animations as website intros are constantly skipped in lieu of getting to the content. We find that the general public, advertisers, and designers have grown tired of this annoying trend and want more from their websites. Flash responded and developed Actionscript 3.0 which is a powerful scripting language that changed Flash from being an animation platform, to a programmers heaven. This isn't to say that Flash no longer has the ability for visual artists to animate (in fact it has more), it simply has become something more versatile.

Many digital media artists in New York City use Flash as a program to launch interactive media projects that involve complicated algorithms. Flash also now has the ability to communicate with new coding languages such as php, ajax, flex, and even open source coding languages which makes Actionscript a scripting language of choice. Many of the designers taking Flash Web design in New York City to the next level come are individual artists with a thirsty for knowledge and new creative outlets. Hopefully these artists continue to pursue new avenues of expression and bring all of us towards a brighter, user-friendly future.
